Manteca Winery

Manteca Winery, built in about 1905 by Achille Bacilieri, was later part of the Manteca Canning Company.  The building is still standing.  Bacilieri also owned the first water works and the wooden tank can be seen in the background.

It is our privilege to share this historic piece of Manteca's history.  The Manteca Winery once again is shinning brightly over down town, offering a glimpse back in time and an opportunity for history lovers to visit a 105 year old icon of The San Joaquin Valley.  The Manteca Winery hosts many of The Valley's finest wine makers creations.  Guided tours are offered through the Manteca Historical Society (209) 825-3021 and anytime by appointment through Valentine Construction (209) 602-3901.
